My dad was a big fan of Edgar Cayce, Klainey, yet I never read a single book on him.  Caught a brief documentary on him last week and he was considered to be amazing with what he could do.

You all have made excellent choices so I think I'll tag along instead of having to think about it.  lol

Well if the bible is correct...there's always judgement day to meet with Jesus.

Back in the early '80's, I was told by Reverend Johnson's wife, "When you die, God's not going to want you and the Devil will be afraid you'll take over."  So, all you all are going to have to put in a good word for me. :evilgrin0042:

I know we will all meet him sooner or later, but Jesus. I would love to meet him, hear his voice, and soak up some of his wisdom. He is proof of life after death.

I'm going to be a bit weird but....

....I'd love to meet this Shining Crazy Diamond (though preferably before his mental breakdown when he was outgoing, charming and fun).

Artist, Painter, Poet, Dreamer, Rock Music Pioneer, Inspiration for the rest of Pink Floyd for years to come. Syd Barrett was amazing and talented and GORGEOUS! THOSE CLEOPATRA EYES! WOWZERS!

Well; If there's definitely a hereafter, we'll meet all these people soon enough.

It must sound weird but I don't really have one. Oh, I'd love to meet my favorite singer (Michael Jackson) but I've learned enough in life to know that reality could never match the fantasy and I'd be disappointed. There are plenty of people I find fascinating such as all the women who fought for women's rights, many members of the British royal family, Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, and counting. But I'm a great fan of history, and I know what their times and ways were like. I'd rather keep the fantasy intact than be disappointed. Logically, we all know that these people were and are just people who managed to get themselves caught up in history by having the guts to raise their voices and say no. But they are all just people, one way or the other.

You certainly have a point. With famous folks, living and deceased, it's best to not meet them in-person lest they turn out to be jerks.

Many of the above mentioned had faults and bigotries and it's best to keep an idealized vision so you could truly appreciate their good parts.

That said; If you want to talk to those no longer in the material plane, chat with people you knew, personally and liked. I'd love to see my maternal Grandma! She was SO COOL! Also; Her husband (My Grandpa, who passed before I was born), her sister (My Great Aunt), her mom (My Great Grandma), her oldest son (My Uncle), etc. There's a lot of neat family that are no longer around.
