I used to collect especially unusual objects/items..... and I have a lot of them! Here's a sampling of my collection.

They are pretty cool.... unfortunately, the only one I own is dead... but still fascinating.

Jim, Only problem is that's a Fruit Bat, small ears; longer body with less skin stretched between the legs.





This is a Vampire Bat, bigger ears; smaller, stockier body.

Are you correcting me again, MacC?    ........Well I paid a lot of money for the wrong bat then... but still very cool.    :  )

I'll check it out MacC and if so, I'll ask for a refund six years later.

Those are all so awesome! I agree with EVP, I also thought the paranormal was enough. My only collection hobbies include things with gothic decor or horror movies.

ETA: Just a little tidbit...for anyone who has seen the movie Fright Night, the actor chose to eat apples when he was in human form to portray that the type of bat he is able to become is a fruit bat. That has to be one of my favorite vampire movies.
