I get so frustrated with people!  There are so many natural things that help with being healthy, yet people won't believe it!

Colloidal Silver   prevents and stops colds, flu, sore throats, numerous infections, but there are so many trolls that say bad stuff about it, that people are afraid of it. I have used it now for more than ten years, and can testify that it works! It is expensive, so I make my own. Just last week I cured my granddaughter's pink eye in two days using it. NASA uses it on the space station, yet they don't want people to know about it. It is very safe, but many won't agree.

Serrapeptase clears clogged arteries, aids digestion, and helps inflamation and pain. I told my sister in law just today that it can help with her arthritis (not cure, but help), and she dismissed me and didn't want to know about it. I can testify to this too, the vericous veins are almost gone in my legs after a little over six months.

People have gotten less intelligent since they have taken the iodine out of baked good back in the 70's. Just look at all the high school graduates that can't even read very well. I take iodine, and have with no negative effects, for several years. I am in my 60's and take no prescription meds.

Does any one else use any natural meds they want to share?

I don't know if it is a home remedy or not, but things with mint in them calm my sour stomach and acid reflux

If I get heartburn, I'll put some baking soda in a glass of water, it counteracts the acidity right away. As it does that, sometimes I'll have some good burps! (since the action of baking soda on acidity produces some air bubbles)

Doesn't baking soda also help draw out bee stingers and venom?

It may be epsom salt you're talking about, but baking soda may do that as well. Baking soda does all kinds of great things! If an animal get sprayed by a skunk, making a paste with baking soda, dawn dishwashing soap and hydrogen peroxide will totally get rid of the smell, I know from experience. It's a great deodorant, tooth powder etc etc

When I was 17 & 18 I developed a pretty bad case of acne. The Doc put me on Antibiotics and it took care of the problem for the most part. But I was told I wouldn't want to stay on antibiotics too long or it could do damage to my kidneys, etc. So I found out that brewers yeast was the best cure and I could safely take it for as long as I needed. It had a horrible taste and made me want to throw-up. But I wanted to give it a fair shake so I stayed with it. Within a week, everything cleared up and stayed clear as long as I took a dose everyday mixed with milk.  :)

After awhile, I graduated to Multi-vitamin B tablets... and that did the job just fine.

Yes it does. You make a paste with baking soda and a little water.

I spent most of my childhood barefooted, and still do it sometimes, and as far as I know I have never gotten hook worms. Maybe because I never go barefooted in a pasture that has animals in it, or inside a fence where  dogs are kept?

Slippery Elm for IBS, or Chrons disease, really helps!

Another one, serrapeptase, cleans out your arteries over time.... something most of us need.

Once my wife and I reacted to a common antibiotic that neither of us has reacted to before or since.

(She came down with same symptoms after me so we shared meds, naughty, naughty not recommended)

My guess was it was a bad batch or fake that slipped through the system.

We got really itchy feet and legs, crazy itchy.

Ran a bath with baking soda and that calmed it right down and then went away.

We did report this to the manufacturer before disposing but never heard back. (didn't expect to really)

I can testify to the effectiveness of silver. We had bad flu season here a few years ago. I was around 20 plus people who had just gotten diagnosed. Most had been sure to get the flu shot(I do not get them). And then when they came down with it anyway, were prescribed tamiflu. Even with that, still took them days to be back to normal. I tried to get it twice during that particular season but with silver was fine within 4-6 hours of intense dosage. My daughter who was four at the time finally caught it, and I started administering the silver. She was well within 36 hrs. (Didnt give her as high a dosage, as often for adults). Ive heard rumors that silver was actually found to kill all viruses in a laboratory but that information I was told was swept under the rug.

I've started a foraging and herbalism journal. Ive been to one outdoor nature walk class on the subject. Then Covid happened. Its amazing the healing properties of the plant kingdom. Things right under our feet or right above our heads. I'm trying to collect a good deal of it and educate my daughter.

I will share one remedy. My father had a friend in his 70s at the time many years ago. Things were not looking good for him. He had alot of health issues. On alot of prescribed medication and some was aggressively damaging his already damaged liver. (Seems like an oxymoron to call this approach medicine) My dad was worried for him. I told him to tell his friend to first research something called Milk Thistle, make sure there are no known interactions with the horde of medicine he was on. Apparently, there were none found, so his friend started taking a good quality extract multiple times a day. Now, from my understanding, if you have a damaged liver, milk thistle helps it to regenerate OVER TIME. So, even I was amazed when the following was recanted to me a few months later.

Going for his regular checkup, the doctor came back into the office looking highly perplexed at the results on his patients liver. He said to my dads friend, " Well, I'm confused. Are you doing something different? You liver was already damaged, and the medicine I prescribed side effect was to do more damage. So, tell me please, why you now have the liver of a 21 year old."
He related how his friends daughter told him to start taking milk thistle. The doctor had never heard of it. He was extremely interested. I'm sure he made the connection a short time later that if he told his patients about milk thistle, he chanced losing his medical license.

If I kept writing, this comment would be way longer than it already is so ill stop there, lol. Good thread, Snickers!

It's true but copper does the same thang and it's cheaper and easier to work with.

Before antibiotics there was silver and the first successful eye surgeries were only possible due to a colloidal silver egg protein antimicrobial powder of the time. NASAs first prolonged space missions used a colloidal silver and copper generator to keep their water system gross stuff free. Silver, nano particles and salts have been known about and used medicinally for more than a hundred years.

Don't believe conspiracy nuts  even when they are right they are still crazy :bunny:
