[EVP]

I'm going to share my personally prepared questions I use during EVP Q & A's. There are a total of 42 question to ask. Just a few guidelines for success. Before asking the questions I'd recommend stating your intentions. Make a statement to put the other side at ease and let them know you're there to learn from them and that you respect their privacy if they do not wish to answer.

Leave 30 seconds between questions to allow the other side to respond. Keep your Q&A sessions to 10 minutes maximum. You're encouraged to start another Q&A later but running one session for extended periods of time seems to exhaust the other sides responses. Having a mix of male and female investigators asking questions seems more fruitful with replies.

I'd personally try to limit asking questions that require only YES/NO answers. You want questions that will require unique answers to your questions preferably multi-word replies. Keeping your questions relatively short seems ideal. Don't expect long replies to your questions. To date, I've only heard one lengthy EVP. It was during a passive session and lasted "believe it or not" 20 seconds but it quickly became inaudible. It was an investigation at a theater from a paranormal team that asked for my analysis. Unfortunately, I'm unwilling to share that clip as I was only given permission for use with my EVP presentations. The group has long since disbanded but I still respect their permission of use.

If at all possible, purchase a recorder that is capable of real-time listening/recording and use a pair of headphones to monitor. You just might be able to use a follow-up question if you have a question answered. Monitoring real-time seems to continue to be overlooked by many investigators. By simply asking a question and reviewing days later is the equivalent of answering the phone and simply walking away. The intention of EVP sessions is communication from both side. The lack of monitoring ensures one way communication predominantly.

I'll provide a link to my GoogleDrive account where the 42 questions can be downloaded on 7 pre-formatted 3"x 5" index cards. I encourage you to print them on index cards and laminating in plastic. My cards are still going strong after 10 years of use. Distribute one card to each investigator. Assign a time keeper pointing to the next investigator after the 30 seconds has elapsed from the question asked. A single investigator may only get a chance to ask a couple of questions depending on the size of the group in one session by complying with the 10 minute maximum guideline.

I really can't offer much help to ITC research. I'm old school and have shaped my EVP sessions from the advice of Sarah Estep's work. She was the last EVP pioneer in the 21st century. She founded the AAEVP [American Association of Electronic Voice Phenomena] and passed on the community to the Butlers when she hit her senior years. Sarah captured over 10,000 EVP's and worked with two other influencial EVP pioneers,  Friedrich Jürgenson & Konstantin Raudive before bringing her work back to the USA.

Great questions! I always tried to not overdo the the same questions you hear repeated on some investigations, especially TV shows. I've asked what is on the other side, is is there a heaven, are you in a different dimension, stuff like that. I did get an answer saying "We can't tell you"

Thanks for input Vlawde. I have used that question, "What's it like on the other side?" before. I should have substituted that question in one of my less interesting questions. The answer you got "We can't tell you!" is just EPIC adding to the complete mystery & suspense us humans don't understand.
